Depending on the length of your Sweden travel, you may wish to do the following Sweden Travel:
Four days: Visit Stockholm, Experience the bright nights, fine dining, boat travels and shopping in Stockholm. Enjoy a truly unforgettable weekend in the magical “capital of Scandinavia”.
Take a 2.5-hour Stockholm Sightseeing tour, viewing the most significant places in the capital, including the Old Town and Djurgården, the king’s ancient hunting grounds. This combined bus and boat tour really gives you Stockholm in a nutshell.
We will take you on a morning travel to visit sites such as the beautiful town of Vaxholm, the fascinating Rånäs Castle and the nearby city of Norrtälje. This is a 4–5 hour tour that will give you a good introduction to Sweden’s impressive industrial history.
Explore the amazing Old Town, with its narrow alleys and beautiful medieval houses—a perfect way to end your weekend break in Stockholm.
You will have plenty of time to explore the city, its museums, shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
Four days In addition to Stockholm, Sightseeing tours, museums and shopping you could also visit the Castles and Manor Houses area west of Stockholm through beautiful Swedish countryside along the shores of the lake Malaren visiting highlights like the Gripsholm Castle, the town of Mariefred and the Sigurd rock carvings from the Viking age.
One week travel as above, and add a visit to Trollhattan, located beautifully by the lake Vanern, and from there explore the area around the lake including Varmland. We would recommend you to rent a car to drive to Trollhattan and Varmland.
Two weeks travel: as above plus, Gothenburg, Malmo the Kingdom of Chrystal and Oland. If you are planning to travel around the country for two weeks, renting a car gives you greater flexibility than using the scheduled bus service or train. If you are traveling in a group of two or more people, the cost of renting a car also works out cheaper than public transport.
One month travel: as above plus a visit to Norway with the scenic fjord landscape and Denmark.
