Day 1: Arrival

Day 2: Stockholm – Kiruna, Lapland and Midnight Sun
Transportation by plane or train from Stockholm/Arlanda to Kiruna, where you are met and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, you will be picked up for a drive up the mountain Luossavaara. From here you have a magnificent view over the Torne River and Jukkasjärvi—and the midnight sun, of course.

Day 3: River Cruise and Wilderness Dinner
In the afternoon, we’ll go for an excursion along the beautiful Torne River. We will visit a reindeer herder, and take part in feeding the reindeer. Then we’ll take a break on an island, where we will have dinner in a wooden hut.

Day 4: Abisko National Park
Today we will enjoy a guided tour to the Abisko National Park situated in a high mountain area in the vicinity of Kiruna. Dinner at local resturant in Kiruna.

Day 5: Kiruna Underground and Return to Stockholm
In the morning, you’ll visit the world’s biggest underground mine. We’ll travel by bus right into the mountain and through the mine, which is half a kilometre underground. This is an authentic mining environment, where exhibits, films, slide shows and multimedia presentations explain the fascinating world of iron- and steel-making. (Children under 6 years of age are not allowed in the mine for security reasons). In the afternoon, you’ll be transported to the train station or airport for your trip back to Stockholm/Arlanda.

Day 6: Departure
Passengers departing on the afternoon flight will have time for some last-minute shopping, a perfect way to end your break in Sweden. Transfer from Stockholm to Arlanda airport.

The accommodation on the tour is in well-appointed comfort hotels. Rooms are with private shower or bath and WC. All provide breakfast (included in the price) and most have their own restaurant.
